ReCreation was founded by John Thomson to provide high net worth families with specialized family office and residential services needed to ensure their homes are well run at all times & to their high standards.

John has an extensive senior management background in all areas of high-end private service managing large multiple homes including development & management of exclusive properties such as Porcupine Creek here in Rancho Mirage & homes at the Yellowstone Club. He has also managed multiple properties in various stages of purchase, construction & renovation both here in the United States but also internationally. John spent the first part of his career in the high-end hospitality business working for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts & others where he held several senior management positions.

John’s diverse background also includes managing high-end aviation & marine operations as well as developing & running private family offices for his clients. This has all contributed to an effective management style to provide his clients with the perfect levels of accountability, transparency and consistency needed to ensure their expectations are met & exceeded. John’s approach to management ensures his team are always willing to drive themselves above & beyond the goals set for them to ensure their clients feel comfortable that all areas of their homes are running as they should be at all times.
